Hello! I’m Jessica Sinclair; a freelance creative illustrator and designer currently based in Sheffield, UK.
My creative work aims to transform the dull and ordinary into something engaging and extraordinary, which makes the world a better and more colourful place.
My ethos is rooted in sharing visual stories that spark an emotional connection. This connection is what drives audiences to take action. I first connect with my clients through Zoom, where I get to know you and your business on a personal level, as well as what story you want to tell your audience. Face to face connections help us to establish a firm foundation early on and allows for ideas to come to life. Throughout the creation stages I factor in feedback sessions to ensure we are always on the same page. My process sets your story up for success by getting your audience to care about what you have to say.
My style is minimal and whimsical, and I love using colour and texture in my illustrations and designs to add depth and meaning. I enjoy creating posters, infographics, booklets, and creative logos, as well as creating custom commissions.

hobbies and interests
I love writing poetry and short stories, as they allow me to translate my lived experiences into digestible chunks and forge a shared connection with others. I am currently writing debut my fantasy novel on energy superpowers and cults. I especially appreciate the art of spoken word, and started up “Feminist Voices” in Phnom Penh: a monthly spoken word night dedicated to feminist topics and hearing voices we don’t usually hear in the mainstream.
My creative work has also led me to reading tarot, as I am always looking for innovative ways to experience the world. Tarot, in essence, is a visual storytelling tool; it allows us to see the forces at play in our lives and offers us advice on navigating through them. Tarot has enabled me to help people in a way that is authentic to me; through connecting on an individual level with others and bringing clarity to difficult situations. I have been doing online tarot events as part of the Sheffield Creative Guild , and I am running tarot workshops in the new year.
In my spare time, you can find me rock climbing or hiking in the Peak District.
